video

oh hay guys! I’m Hell’s Messenger!

This is the cool new (ish) trailer for the new Riddick game The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. It looks quite right, don’t it?

I enjoyed the Riddick movies and the games. And although I am a poor man with only a Wii and missing a real men’s console like the 360 or PS3, I am sort of excited.

The short trailer just gives you a little tease of what players can expect.

Because I am so awesome I also give you this 4 minute video of the game’s intro. But, this being the Internet, you probably have seen both videos already. What a sad day this is for all of us. Never forget: Many Bothans died for bringing us this information.

This is madness! Get in the back of the van!

This is madness! That was the first thing that came to mind when I first saw this video a couple of months ago. Which demented brain came up with this crazyness?

Back off right there! My first impression, as usual, failed me. Just like that one time when I bought all that useless Jar Jar Binks merchandise because I thought he was gonna be BIG after Episode 1. Oh well …

What we’ve got here is a failure to communicate total work of utter brilliance and genius! Indeed it is!

Swede Mason, the artist behind this music video, has taken a simple quote from the cult movie Withnail & I (particularly popular amongst British students for its many drinking game possibilities. Just google this, will you?) and put some beats to it and … well. Turns out this is one of the best things on the Internet.
Ever.
For real.
I could (did, and will again) watch this for hours on end.

We’ve gone on holiday by mistake:

The iToilet

This is from the same guy that brought us the funny Mactini parody. The guy has as name, too. He is Peter Serafinowicz, a British comedian, you may or may not remember from Look Around You. See if you can’t get a “copy” of that show because it’s pretty funny. Anybody remember Songs from the Year 2000 skit? Maybe even the Machadaynu song? No? You can check out that masterpiece (remixed) on our friend’s site LOL Factory here.

In any case, this Apple product parody here is about a toilet. Not much you can improve on a toilet, right? Well, of course you’re wrong!

I must admit that it’s not the funniest Apple parody but still worth a watch.

Ackbar! The Star Wars Talk Show

It had to happen.

Even in a galaxy far, far away TV isn’t much better than here on Earth and trashy talk shows can be found on every holo-channel.

As if further proof was needed, the Skywalkers are shown as the moisture farming trash family that they really are.

Subwoofer Cat

OK. The internet actually has everything. Where else would you find a video of a cat on a subwoofer?

Something to do at the weekend: DIY catapult

I am not good at DIY. In fact, I suck at it. Hammer and nails and me just don’t get along. Also, I am left-handed. At least I always use that as an excuse if something need to be done around the house micro-flat I live in.

However, I hear that you can actually do some cool stuff with DIY, even if you’re just half-able. Like building a doghouse. Or a tree house. Or maybe even a giant sized catapult the Romans would be proud of. If that’s what tickles your fancy.

As soon as someone figures out how to built a DIY Deathstar I’ll get my tools.

Oh Look! The Watchmen TV Spot #2

What a great week this is turning out to be. Galactica is back, I still have (some) money in my bank account and we get to see the lovely Watchmen TV spot #2 – because the world needs its heroes back. Or so I hear.

I actually have no clue if this is new or not. You see, I live in a part of the world were we still have black and white television, have to get our asses off the sofa to change the channels, and only recently discovered the advantages of fire and the wheel. I tell you, that wheel thingie is quite handy.

Where the Hell is Matt? – Team Fortress 2 Style

Now, wether or not all those Where the Hell is Matt? videos are a big fake or not, it is still a pretty neat idea to go dancing around the world. Even if the world may or may not be nothing but a bluescreen trick played on the whole internet. But I digress.

This cool video is basically the same. Just with those guys from Team Fortress II dancing around in other online environments (like Second Life, WoW and other stuff). Very entertaining!

T-Mobile Dance

Oh look! T-Mobile has a new viral ad that’s a rip-off inspired by those improv everywhere videos. Still, looks pretty neat!

Friday Classic: El grande espectaculo de PAC-MAN

Every Friday we’ll be posting some classic stuff from our great German sister site with no readers. Because a) it’s Friday and b) we’re lazy and c) we don’t have any readers on this site either. So who cares?

This is a commercial for some game stuff, Gametap. No clue whatsoever what that is and I’m not going to google it either. You could though – and tell me off in the comments for not knowing. You know, because we value your opinion and we would love to know what you think of our site and/or products! REALLY!1!!

The commercial shows the eternal struggle of SeƱor Pac-Man and his fight against those pesky little ghosts Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde. In Mexican puppet theatre style. Nice!

For me, Pac-Man was one the only highlights of my holiday in Spain (muy encantado) with my parents when I was little. I was about 8 or something and instead of going down to the beach (like all the normal kids in my age) I decided that my time and my parents money was much better spent in the arcade.
